What's an MCP, and why should I care?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is how Claude connects to outside apps. Merlin ships the connectors done for you: one OAuth click pipes Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Amazon, Shopify, Stripe and more into Claude. No servers to configure. A few integrations (Klaviyo, Postscript SMS, AppLovin) use a private API key the platform itself issues; the connection wizard walks you to it in 30 seconds.
What if my platform has no official MCP server?
That's the point. Most ad and commerce platforms don't ship one. Merlin bridges them anyway: Reddit Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Etsy, TripleWhale, AppLovin, PostHog, Microsoft Clarity, Postscript SMS. If it has your data, Merlin can pipe it into Claude.
